Let
Go and Let God
In the last few months I have had to make
some tough decisions. Things have not been going the way I thought they would
have and in the natural it looks like my dreams and promises have died. At this
point the only thing I can do is let go and let God take it from here.
Just because something doesn’t look the way
you thought or didn’t turn out the way you had planned, doesn’t mean that the
Lord is not still in control. His ways are not our ways. It also doesn’t even
mean that it won’t come to pass; it just means He is going to do it His way and
in His time.
It can get very frustrating when it looks
like things are getting worse and not better. We tend to cry out to the Lord
asking Him why and where are you? Just remember He is right beside you working
behind the scenes. He knows what is best for you. Jesus didn’t die on the cross
for you to have a horrible life. John 10:10 says, “The thief comes only in
order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life,
and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” So pick yourself up
today, dust yourself off. You are a child of the most high God. You are a
daughter or a son of a King. He will fight for you. Exodus 14:14 says, “The
Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” So let go and let Him take
over.
